Greetings, DeviantWritersUnion members!
===Update from =
reaumursboilingpoint===
I apologize for the lack of updates. I was on vacation and then school kept me busy, but I promise I'll keep up now. (Do you believe me? I wouldn't...

)
If you have sent me a note and I've yet to respond, I'm getting to those right now. Expect a response within several hours.
Meanwhile, I've been working on a couple of things.

A forum. I installed YaBB on my personal web site--which is wasting away alone and unused--but the forum doesn't have any members. It is all set up and ready to go.

A Yahoo! Group. What better way than email to get conversations going and inform people of updates and new submissions? There's file and photo sharing, a calendar, and polls. (Don't tell me I sound like an ad. I know.)
Who is interested in a forum or group? Does anyone have better ideas for keeping the DWU going? Comments, anyone?
Anyone? (Is that echoing I hear?)

IfrozenspiritI was born in Colorado, grew up in a small town in Massachusetts, and moved to a smaller town in New Hampshire a few years ago. Rachel is currently a freshman at Williams College in Williamstown, MA, where she plans to major in English (with a concentration in creative writing).
Rachel is relatively new to writing "for real," but loves it and has been doing her best to improve. She thinks the encouragement and critique found here on dA have been extraordinarily helpful toward that effort. Unsure how to categorize her stories most of the time, she doesn't think she writes in a particular genre. Rachel tends to focus on character and imagery in her writing.
When not writing, she spends all her time riding her horse, reading, and playing her clarinet. Rachel is also in charge of the prose gallery for the
Unknown Artists Project, so if you know of any prosewriters who've been overlooked or underexposed, send her a note!)
Please read
Sacrifice which Rachel feels is probably the pinnacle of her literary career.
