Memoirs of whores sell the
best when secrets are revealed.
We wait, breath bated and total,
slavering monstrosity one must face.
O, the pressures of infamy!
These shadows flay and restore all
at once and "never again" is
the refrain we as people both repeat
and retract.

That ever-present effervescent
promise of time and charity
stays in the grasp of nothingness
ever-after.
What is it that must be done away?

Drip the necessities--how does
this work anymore?
